Makeup Lessons

Are you a makeup beginner or looking to refresh your skills and learn the latest techniques?

Many of us have a basic knowledge of makeup, but the techniques commonly used these days and the huge variety of products on the market can be confusing.

There are so many brands to choose from - how do you know which one is best?  Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions:

  • How do I know which foundation to buy?
  • What does concealer do exactly?
  • Do I need to use a primer?
  • I've got oily skin.  What are the best products for me?
  • What's the difference between a high street brand and a high end brand other than the price?
  • How do you contour?
  • What is skin undertone and how do I find mine?
  • What skincare do I need?
  • Are any of these products really worth getting?
  • What do I really need in my makeup bag?

Have you ever just thought you'd like to update your makeup routine?  Maybe you've been doing your makeup the same way for years and just want to change things up a bit.  There's so much information out there on tv, in magazines and on the internet, where do you start?  Even for a Pro MUA, there is a lot of choice and a lot to learn!

Makeup Artists aren't just there to do your makeup for you.  We can give you advice on your skincare routine, help you identify your skin type, tone and which colours suit you best.  We can advise on what products will work for you and which ones you really don't need and, most importantly, help you find great quality products that won't break the bank.

You can choose to have a lesson at your home using your own tools and products or you can have a full lesson with pro artist products and tools to give you an idea of the best things to buy for your own use.  Either way, learn to get the most out of your makeup.

As a thank you for choosing to have a lesson with us, you will be provided with a sample of IsoClean brush cleaner to help you keep your tools in tip top condition like a pro!

Lesson Details and Prices

As these lessons are very much tailored to your needs, they can take a few hours.  It just depends on what time you have and what you want to learn.

As a result, lessons are now charged at an hourly rate of £15.  Therefore, if your lesson is just an hour long, you will pay £15.  If your lesson takes a total of two and a half hours, it will cost you £37.50.
